Child sexual abuse is a form of child abuse that includes a variety of criminal sexual offenses. A child cannot consent to any form of sexual activity.
Sexual assault are offenses in which an adult uses a minor for the purpose of sexual gratification. It does not have to involve penetration, force, pain, or even touching. If the older person engages in even looking, showing, or touching to meet a sexual need, it is abuse. Rape, sodomy, putting body parts such as fingers, tongue or penis into orifices (vagina, anus, mouth), playing sexual games, sexual penetration with an object, exposure to pornography, sexual exploitation such prostituting or the manufacture, distribution and viewing of child pornography.
